• User Feedback for Record Operations

  We've added feedback when you interact with records on managemate.

  Now, when you create, share, delete, or restore a record - be it a document, project, invoice, activity, or vendor - a success message will briefly appear. This message confirms the action taken, displays the record's name, and automatically disappears after 5 seconds. By hovering over the message, the message will remain on screen. For your convenience, the record name in the message is also a clickable link that directs you to the record's view page, facilitating easy access and verification. This update aims to make your experience more intuitive and efficient. See image below.

  

• Tax Identification Number in Property Profile

  We've updated the property profile to allow you to enter the Tax Identification Number. This new field helps you quickly find tax information, ensuring that crucial data is easily accessible and well-organized.

• View Password on Login

  We've added the option to toggle the visibility of your password on login. Simply click the eye icon next to the password input field to view or hide your password. See images below.

• New Filtering and Sorting Options in Projects Page

  We've upgraded the Projects page to help you easily locate your projects, adding filters and sorting options. Below, you'll find an overview of these enhancements. For a visual guide, refer to the image below.

1. Name: Quickly locate a project by typing its name into the search bar.
2. Priority: Narrow down projects by selecting one or multiple priorities.
3. Stage: Filter projects by selecting one or multiple stages.
4. Planned Start Date: Specify a date range to view projects scheduled to commence within a particular timeframe.
5. Planned End Date: Filter projects by their expected completion dates by selecting a date range, helping you monitor deadlines.
6. Clear Filters: You can easily reset your search criteria to view all projects without any applied filters by clicking in this button.
7. Sort by Project Name: Alphabetize projects by name with a simple click on the column header. Click again to reverse the sort order.
8. Sort by Planned Start Date: Organize projects by their start dates. A second click on the header toggles between ascending and descending order.
9. Sort by Stage: Sort projects based on their stage. Clicking the column header switches the sorting direction.

• Improvements to Activities Page

  We've updated the Activities page to improve navigation and the overall user experience:

  • Pagination: To facilitate the access to activities in the List tab, we've transitioned from the "Load more" option to a more efficient pagination system. This change allows for quicker and easier navigation through records in each section of the Activities page.
  • Quick Period Filters: We've introduced quick period filters at the top of the sections in the List tab, allowing for more dynamic filtering based on your needs. Here are the new filter options available that are applied to all sections:

  • Latest Status Updates:
    • All: Displays all status updates.
    • 7 Days: Shows status updates created in the last 7 days.
    • 30 Days: Filters status updates created in the last 30 days.
    • 60 Days: Filters status updates created in the last 60 days.
    • Select Period: Customizable filter to display status updates within selected date ranges.
  • Overdue:
    • All: Displays all overdue activities.
    • 7 Days: Shows activities that are overdue in the last 7 days.
    • 30 Days: Filters activities that are overdue in the last 30 days.
    • 60 Days: Filters activities that are overdue in the last 60 days.
    • Select Period: Customizable filter for overdue activities within selected date ranges.
  • Upcoming:
    • All: Displays all upcoming activities.
    • 7 Days: Shows activities that are due in the next 7 days.
    • 30 Days: Filters activities that are due in the next 30 days.
    • 60 Days: Filters activities that are due in the next 60 days.
    • Select Period: Customizable filter for upcoming activities within selected date ranges.
  • Completed:
    • All: Displays all completed activities.
    • 7 Days: Shows activities that were completed in the last 7 days.
    • 30 Days: Filters activities that were completed in the last 30 days.
    • 60 Days: Filters activities that were completed in the last 60 days.
    • Select Period: Customizable filter for completed activities within selected date ranges.

• The Quick Access Menu and Calendar are Now Available on Every Page

  Before today, the Quick Access Menu, which includes a calendar listing activity due dates and project start and end dates, was only available in the dashboard.

  Starting today, you can open the Quick Access Menu from any page, making it easier to see pending or completed activities and projects in a convenient calendar display.

  To open the Quick Access Menu, click on your profile icon, which you will find on every page at the top right of your web browser window. Note that on the dashboard the Quick Access Menu is open by default if your web browser’s page with is greater than 1192 pixels.

  This menu lets you see the calendar, so you can keep track of when projects and activities are due. It also lets you quickly get to your managemate profile.

• Improvements to Activities

  • Identify the Assignee More Easily in List View: We updated the List view in the Activities section to more prominently display the assignee's name or the organizer's details within each group. This improvement ensures you can quickly see who is responsible for each activity. Check out the List view for your condo’s Activities, here: https://app.managemate.ca/activities?tabView=List.
  • Navigate to a Project with Fewer Clicks: When viewing activities in Table view or List view, or when viewing an activity in the activity view page, you can now click on the project name to navigate directly to the project view page.

• Dashboard Enhancements

  • Quicker Load Times: We’ve added pagination buttons to several sections in the dashboard, which will reduce the time it takes for the dashboard to load.

  • Find Activities More Easily: We swapped the positions of the "Active Projects" and "Active Activities" sections and moved them to the top. This change is designed to improve the flow and accessibility of your management activities, including tasks and events.

    You can now sort records by clicking on the column titles in several sections in the dashboard. This will help you find information more quickly.

• New Way to Edit Activities

  You can now edit activities directly on the page you're on, without the need to navigate to the "View Activity" page to make edits. This allows you to make your changes more quickly than before.

  To edit an activity, for example, in the activities page:

  1. Navigate to the activities page.
  2. In the table view, locate the action menu, represented by the downward facing green arrow, and click on it.
  3. From the menu that appears, select the “Edit” option.

  

  1. A popup will appear. To fully edit the activity, click on the “Edit All Fields” option.

  

  1. In the popup that appears, you can edit the details of the activity, such as start date, priority, status, cost estimate, and linked records.

  

• Upgraded Email Layout: Enhanced Sharing Records with Added Details

  We've updated the design of our record-sharing emails. The new layout is more user-friendly and visually appealing. Additionally, we've enriched the records displayed in these emails with more information. This enhancement will assist you in staying on top of your tasks and goals.
